Climate
St Martin is sunny and warm all year round, with average temperatures varying little throughout the year. Temperatures in range from 72-86°F (22-30°C). The winds blow a fairly regular 15 knots from mid-March to mid-April. Showers can be expected at any time of year but rainstorms pass quickly. There is one season for hurricanes: between July through November with the highest probability in early September.

Saint Martin is divided into 2 sides the "Dutch" side in the south and the French side in the north. Saint Martin depends on tourism with spectacular white sandy beaches along the coastline.
Philipsburg is the capital and a paradise for shopping, duty free, casinos and great night life. Many bars and restaurants are situated along the beach front.
On the french side, Marigot the Royal Marina on it's own is a main shopping attractions.
In Saint Martin the winds are moderate, the sea is calm, and many short sailing trips can bring you to and from beautiful places like Pinel island and Tintamarre, St kitts and Nevis or north of Anguilla or South of Saint Barth.
