Climate The average monthly temperatures in Martinique remain remarkably stable, varying by only about 5° year-round. This stability is attributed to the tradewinds (Les Alizés) which bring refreshing breezes from the northeast throughout the year. December through May is the dry season, while June through November is considered the more humid season. Average air temperatures in coastal areas range from 22° to 30° C (72° to 86° F).

The Marin Marina, in the south of the island is the heart of the yacht charter industry in the southern Caribbean and it is well equipped with excellent grocery stores, services and supermarkets as well as a wide variety of restaurants.
