Climate
The average monthly temperatures in Martinique remain remarkably stable, varying by only about 5° year-round. This stability is attributed to the tradewinds (Les Alizés) which bring refreshing breezes from the northeast throughout the year. December through May is the dry season, while June through November is considered the more humid season. Average air temperatures in coastal areas range from 22° to 30° C (72° to 86° F).

The north of the island is very lush and green with scenic rivers and enchanting mountains, culminating in the summit of the Mount Pele volcano. Whilst the south of the island is dotted with white sandy beaches, palm trees and an abundance of sea-life. After visiting the magnificent sites on the island, head for the clear blue seas of the south, towards St Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines.
The Marin Marina, in the south of the island is the heart of the yacht charter industry in the southern Caribbean and it is well equipped with excellent grocery stores, services and supermarkets as well as a wide variety of restaurants.
